The Effect of the Quality of Community Services for Senior Citizens on the Awareness of Community Consciousness

|
This study aims to verify how the quality of service assessment of senior citizens using community social participation programs affects community awareness. To this end, we analyzed the impact of the evaluation of SERVQUAL’s quality of service on the community consciousness of 85 senior citizens participating in the program. According to the analysis, quality of service has a strong influence on community awareness. Hierarchical regression between subregions has shown that it affects the order of responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangibleity, and reliability. These results show that community awareness can be improved through community service. The social impact of community services through this study requires efforts to improve the quality of service, especially policy support to provide consistent and reliable services.
